My bad. I was attempting to make the observation that while we have allegations that crooked and nefarious things are going on in the whitehouse, we have very obviously wrong things happening, when church and state meet up and decide that "classical" art or "tits" in this case (something that only americans seem to have a problem with) needs to be covered up.

This was in 2002. The allegation was John Ashcroft (who stepped down hence the 'related story') objected to having a big tit (from the statue behind him) appearing framed in the press photography / media coverage, whenever he gave a speech.

The statue was covered up with a blue "tv friendly" drapery, and a spokesperson from Ashcrofts office basically said that he had nothing to do with this.

My bad again. I thought this old news was an example of the religious right at thier best, and the new news story pointing out that a new cog replaces an old one, in an obviously well oiled machine.

The title was meant to imply Gonzales may not be as far right as Ashcroft was.
